Given the relationship between this time signature and 6/8 and 9/8, I've decided that all of these should be implemented together as opposed to separately. It's going to take some time to iron out the complexities here, and I appreciate your support and patience while I work through these challenges!

Really excited for this feature to be implemented! I have a daily drum warmup written in 12/8 I’d like to be able to program into the app so I can practice and play along inside this meter. Thanks for all the updates to the app!

I know how important 8th note signatures are and it's what I would consider one of the last remaining "foundational" pieces of functionality for composition in the app. (Of course, there's still a TON of other things to be done, but as far as foundational functionality I feel like I'm getting close!)
I just started developing this feature with the 6/8 time signature first since that has the highest # of votes. It looks like you voted on that feature, but just in case you didn't see it I recently shared an overview of the necessary changes: https://roadmap.beat-note.app/feature-requests/p/68-time-signature (or at least, what I expect they will look like)
Implementing 8th note time signatures is a heavy lift so I don't have an estimated release date yet. I'll continue to update you and others on progress and also post to Instagram if you aren't already following along there: https://instagram.com/beatnoteapp
