As a student, I want to practice a beat by repeating each measure of the beat a configured number of times

When practicing a beat, I want to practice it by repeating each measure in the beat more than once.
I want to select the number of times to repeat each measure from 2x up to 32x.
For example, if I had a beat with four measures (#1, #2, #3, #4) and I configured the "repeat" feature to repeat each measure two times, then the playback would be:
#1, #1, #2, #2, #3, #3, #4, #4, and then loop back to measure #1.

Ok, let’s see how to do this the best way possible, cause I think you have a couple options.
First, to start I think you have two main screens where you can add this.
One is the main screen where you access when push a beat.

The other one could be the EDIT screen, let’s name them as MAIN and EDIT screens.
For example, in the MAIN screen you can add a button as the TIMER one, to be honest this one is not very useful for me right now, but that’s not the point.
So, you can program a button, for example, let’s call it REPETITIONS(REP), and you can add x2 up to x32, having all the options between those two numbers, very similar and most importante, easy to choose as the TIMER options, don’t you think so?

Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork): Sounds good! The practice/playback screen would be an appropriate place to include this feature. 👍🏻

Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork): For the edit screen, although playback is possible here, to maintain the focus on editing the beat and not practicing it, I purposely removed the timer feature on this screen. Would you agree that adding a repeat measure feature here would distract from the user's ability to focus on editing the beat? 🤔
Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork)
Derek Lee: i don’t think so, if you put a REP button right there it will work. Even if you think to put it on each measure, in the 3 points option. That way, you have two ways to modify your reps, let’s say one is the regular and whole beat mode, and the other could be editing each measure independently, it can be really handy for those who wants to repeat just a couple measures.
I can’t wait to test this, it will be really really handy for me.

Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork): Thanks for the additional comment! I don't think adding a repeat measure function to the edit beat screen would be appropriate. This screen is specifically for editing a beat, not practicing a beat. Including practice features on the edit screen would make it more complicated and less intuitive.
Yes, of course, it is possible to add any feature to any part of the app, but one of my main goals is to ensure the app is intuitive and simple. For example, I purposely removed the timer function from the edit beat screen because it is unrelated to editing a beat.
Yes, I want to include many features for teachers, content creators, and students in Beat Note. And, at the same time, I need to ensure that the app maintains its intuitiveness and simplicity. Thanks for your understanding! 👍🏻

Derek Lee: you’re going to have the same simplicity and intuitiveness adding a rep button in the MAIN or EDIT section 😅 and most important, you’re going to gain a lot of subscribers if you add a couple things(as this one) that others drum apps already have from time ago.
As a teacher, and of course student, being able to repeat a pattern is crucial to master an exercise, that’s the reason I think the repeat mode it’s totally necessary, I think it’ll made this app even more interesting, but i don’t want to repeat myself all along 🤣🤣
Thanks Derek!

Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork): Thanks Victor! I have a lot of practice features specifically geared toward helping students of the instrument be able to practice more efficiently and effectively. That said, there are also features for teachers and content creators and unfortunately I'm only one person and can only accomplish so much. I've added this feature to the task list so please continue to follow and support and engage with me and the community! Thank you thank you!

Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork) Thank you for submitting this feature request to me via email. Can you please review this and let me know if this accurately describes the feature you have envisioned? Thank you! 🙇🏻♂️

Derek Lee: This is the same thing I asked for my request, but I explain it better right there 💪🏻
