I want to be able to add a flam articulation on a high-tom note. The audio should sound like a flammed note, and not a regular note.

An upvote on this for me. Being able to note a flam on any drum feels to me to be a fundamental feature that is notably missing

Gareth Collins Hi Gareth and thanks for sharing your feedback! I totally agree that flams are fundamental to drumming. That said, building software is a complicated process. The results you're seeing in Beat Note are about three years of full-time work, and I'm working as fast as I can. 
Flams on the snare drum were introduced last week, and flams on all toms is scheduled for the next release so you can look forward to that soon. 👍🏻
