I’m using an iPad Pro from 2018 and when i’m editing a song with 100+ measures it lags pretty bad, i’m not sure if it’s only my device or it needs optimisation. Thank you!

Updating this back to "Planned" as all development work has been paused in order to resolve other critical and outstanding technical issues.
I will resume development of this in the near future. Thanks for your understanding! 🙇🏻♂️

Eliaxus I've been researching the performance aspects to improve the performance on older iPads and the latest release (v3.3, released today in the App Store) contains a few minor improvements for this.
That said, I am still not satisfied with the performance for long beats (100+ measure) on older iPads and I am going to continue to research this to hopefully find additional ways that the performance can be improved. Therefore I am not marking this as "completed" yet as I think there is still additional work to be done.
I am going to tentatively target a further performance improvement in the next release (likely 3.4). That said, addressing performance issues in software is a complex process and may take time to discover an appropriate solution, if one is in fact possible. I have an older iPad that I use as a test device and I'm using that as a benchmark. I'll continue to update you on the progress here and appreciate your patience as I work through this. 🙏🏻🙇🏻♂️

Hello @Eliaxus and welcome to the Beat Note community! I'm excited you have joined us and I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
I'm not surprised to hear you're experiencing lag on a 2018 iPad Pro with a 100+ measure beat as it's an older device and 100+ measures is an unusually long beat. That said, I want you to have a smooth and reliable experience regardless of your device and beat length, and I appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention.
If you don't mind, please send me an email from within the app by accessing the Settings tab > "Email Derek". This will include information about your device. If you don't mind, please also include the name of the beat you are experiencing this issue with. I can then do some research on my side to see if and how performance could be further improved to make your experience smoother.
As it is difficult to me to test Beat Note with every combination of device and data, I really appreciate your help by bringing this issue to my attention so I can further improve your Beat Note experience! Your feedback helps make the app better for everyone.
Once I receive additional information from you I can research this issue. I will share progress here with you so others can also see, and I will plan to include a performance improvement in an upcoming release as quickly as possible.
Thanks for your assistance and patience while I research and implement this improvement. I really appreciate your support! Best, Derek
