While I'm familiar with the clave pattern being played with the left foot, I'm not used to seeing a clave instrument played with the left foot. I know there are brackets where various percussion instruments can be played with a pedal, things like cowbell and wood blocks/etc, but I haven't seen a clave.

My gut feeling on this is that it's a deeper rabbit hole than it seems. Some users have been asking for percussive sounds to be included, like wood blocks and cowbells, and my understanding about their requests is that these would be played with the hands, not the feet.

I want to be able to support independence exercises in Beat Note in the future and have some existing plans to do this. I'm not sure how left-foot percussion can be introduced without creating confusion with percussion played by the hands. I think this is going to take some time to figure out how best to approach, and some other aspects of BN might need to be ironed out first.
