On the "My Beats" screen, I want to sort beats by name so they are easier to find

Beats are currently sorted by which beat was updated most recently.

It's difficult to find the beats that I'm looking for, but if I could sort the list by the beat name, it would be easier for me to find my beats.

A settings drop down feature to sort by alphabetical, most recent would definitely be ideal. But a step further in addition with to be able to access a folder categorization screen. This would be HUGE. A lot of us I think plan to teach your app so being able to properly organize categories with a folder system is a must.

Jesse Rolland: Thanks for this! I'll update this feature request to include both sorting by name as well as most recent. 
As you've mentioned, there are a lot of teachers who are using Beat Note with their students to teach. Several other users have also asked for folders, and I've evaluated both an implementation using folders as well as an implementation using tags. 
Based on the user's needs, I've decided to go with tags and they are scheduled for the next major release (3.0). You can read more about tags and also see some screenshots of the development progress from that feature request: https://roadmap.beat-note.app/feature-requests/p/beat-organization-tags
I understand there are different use cases with folders vs tags, and I've done a lot of research to try and implement this in a way that is most useful given the user needs that I'm aware of. As I try to communicate regarding each enhancement request: Beat Note is a constant work in progress and I'm always open to your feedback. The next major release will include the starting point for tags and the implementation will continue to evolve based on your feedback, so please continue to share! Thanks Jesse! 🤘🏻

Derek Lee After testing tags for a while, I find this to be the most efficient. Even more so than folders would have been, since we can see the tag name in each beat. Kudos!
