Current sticking options include alternating singles, doubles, and the “original” paradiddle. It would be excellent if options were added for inverted paradiddles (R L L R L R R L) and reverse paradiddles (R R L R L L R L) as well.

Thanks for the suggestion Andrew Klein! There isn't a whole lot of room on this screen to add more sticking variations on the iPhone due to the smaller size. 😅 Are you on an iPhone or an iPad? What sticking variations do you think are the most important to include? Would you want these to be configurable? I can think of a bunch of other questions I could ask but maybe we can riff on these ideas initially.

I understand these would make applying these other paradiddle sticking variations more convenient. At least for the time being, a workaround does exist as you can set the sticking to any variation you like. 👍🏻

Derek Lee thanks for the quick response and for building such a great app!!
I’ve been using the app mostly on my iPad, but I have also used it on my phone (more as a teaching aid) however the iPad is more comfortable for me to compose on- I’m working on a book currently and I also create exercises for students to work on. Occasionally I’ll chart a song for gig/recording use.
The sticking variations that feel the most important for quickly creating exercises would be:
consecutive singles
alternating singles
(alternating) doubles
“original” paradiddles (stick control #5)
inverted paradiddles (stick control #6)
reverse paradiddles (stick control #7)
Several of these are already integrated into the app’s features, but I listed them anyway.

Yes I believe the first 4 are already included in the app - looks like youd like to see inverted paradiddles (RLLR LRRL) and reverse paradiddles (RRLR LLRL) included. 👍🏻
Sadly these wouldn't fit in the available space on the iPhone without modifying the interface, but it would be possible to add these to the iPad without much fuss since there's plenty of space available there.
