Vertically center 8th, 16th and 32nd rests

Hey Derek, I noticed when I was writing a kick drum melody inside of BN’s sequencer on the e’s and a’s in a 16th note grid that the 16th note rest notation was showing up on the same line as a the kick drum notation.
Tested this on the sequencer with hi hat notes and noticed a similar issue. Tried it within a few other note rates and saw the same sort of thing happening.
Not a huge deal, but the nit picky side of me would like to see those rest signs can align by default to the middle of the bar regardless of it’s higher or lower on the staff
Also, Im using on iPhone and iPad updated to the latest version. Screenshot with some example is attached for reference 🙂

I understand you have a preference for wanting to see the rest signs center-aligned vertically on the staff regardless of the position of the notes. I'd like to collect feedback from other users as well to understand what their expectations are.
The chosen voicing (Linear, Split Hands/Feet, or Split Drums/Cymbals) also impacts the position of rests. Based on your screenshots, am I correct in assuming this preference is for when using a Linear voicing?
FYI, I don't consider this to be a bug as it is working as I initially designed it to support the initial music notation uses. There are many different ways to render the music and different people may have different preferences, and my goal is to target the majority use case (e.g. 80% as opposed to 20%) to maintain the simplicity and intuitiveness of the app. Once I can collect more feedback from users and understand people's preferences, then I can look at how this can be further improved in the future. Therefore I've updated this to a feature request, set the category as "Comprehensive Music Notation," and updated the title. 👍🏻
